The Convertible Infinit G37 in Stores Now

For all those people who have been whining for years about the unwillingness of Infiniti to bring us a convertible version of the coupe, shut your mouth because the 2009 G37 Infiniti Convertible is now here! The first Infiniti Convertible was a car tat no one remembers; the M30.
The G37 Convertible’s interior includes a special aluminum trim that can be switched for African Rosewood, optional multi-adjustable sport seats, and an outsized trunk. The G37 convertible comes loaded with great accessories like an automatic climate control, a wind deflector, seat with a heater in them, and a 13-speaker Bose sound system. The Futuristc Bose Stereo feature speakers that will balance themselves for better sound when the top is down on the G37 convertible. Rear body panels differ from the regular coupe model, this includes a tonneau cover which covers the retractable convertible top. The convertible top can be put down in no time.
As far as design, Infiniti says the design for the back is all new including structural reinforcements in the chassis, a modified rear suspension, a wider rear track, and an extra inch of width overall. A reatractable hardtop, tonneau cover, and necessary motors cause the G37 convertible to gain a bit of weight. Its 453lbs. heavier that the coupe and over 100lbs. greater than the BMW 335i convertible.
Engine wise, the 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible has a 3.7L V6 engine producing 327hp and 267lb.lb feet of torque. It is obtainable with a six-speed stick-shift sport package or an auto transmission. The convertible also includes 19-inch rolling stock, enhanced brakes, and sport-tuned steering. G37 models with an auto transmission will have magnesium paddle shifters. Brand spanking new this G37 Convertible will set you back a cool 44k. Add another $50 to the sticker's bottom line if you prefer a manual tranny over the automatic.
